How the night works

Linguas is built to reduce the awkward first step. You do not have to know anyone before arriving.

  • RSVP or check the event page so you know the latest venue, time and entry instructions.
  • Arrive from 6:00pm. Many people arrive after work or study, so the room usually builds through the evening.
  • Come to the reception table, collect your wristband and ask where to go if it is your first time.
  • Find a language or social table. You can practise English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish or just meet people.
  • Stay as long as you like. It is casual, social and designed for conversation, not formal networking.
